1. 什么是 Cookie
Cookie 是网站放在你设备上的一小段文本，用来在你下次访问时"想起"一些事情，比如你选的是中文还是英文。除 Cookie 外，网站还可能使用"本地存储"（localStorage），作用类似，但数据只留在你的浏览器里，不会随每次请求发往服务器。
2. 必要项（无法关闭）
这一类不涉及追踪，仅用于让网站正常工作。它们全部使用本地存储，数据不离开你的设备。

5. 如何更改你的选择
随时可以改。点击下面的按钮会重新弹出 Cookie 选择横幅；页脚的"Cookie 设置"链接效果相同。
6. 在浏览器中管理
你也可以直接在浏览器里清除或拦截 Cookie。请注意，拦截全部 Cookie 后，语言与主题偏好将无法保存：
- Chrome：设置 → 隐私和安全 → 第三方 Cookie
- Edge：设置 → Cookie 和网站权限
- Safari：设置 → 隐私 → 管理网站数据
- Firefox：设置 → 隐私与安全 → Cookie 和网站数据

1. What cookies are
A cookie is a short piece of text a website stores on your device so it can remember something next time — such as whether you read in Chinese or English. Alongside cookies, sites can use "local storage", which works similarly but stays inside your browser and is never sent with each request.
2. Strictly necessary (cannot be switched off)
Nothing in this group tracks you; it simply makes the site work. All of it uses local storage, so the data never leaves your device.

Used to count how many people read which article, which tells us what to write next. We only ever read aggregate figures and do not identify individual readers.

4. Advertising (consent required)

5. Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. The button below reopens the cookie banner; the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer does the same thing.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also clear or block cookies directly in your browser. Note that blocking everything means your language and theme choices can no longer be saved:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
